M2M is a multifocus, day-long hacking competition — capture the flag/"Jeopardy"-style — that tests competitors’ cyber- and cyber-physical security skills with a variety of machine-to-machine challenges. The event, hosted by VCU's College of Engineering, will be held in Qimonda Atrium, College of Engineering East Hall, 401 W. Main St. M2M combines computer engineering and electrical engineering and offers challenges that require competitors to confront all aspects of modern security.

VCU Recreational Sports Outdoor Adventure Program will host two extended trips following the spring semester. Utah Canyoneering and Trekking in Peru are both offered May 12-19.
