VCUDine will observe Nutrition Week March 18-22. Summer Programs at Mary and Frances Youth Center

Summer programs at the Mary and Frances Youth Center will offer two different week-long, full-day camps. The camps will be held at the Center, 120 S. Linden St., from June 24-Aug. 9. Lobs and Lessons camps offer tennis, swimming, outdoor adventure games and healthy lifestyle activities for rising first- through ninth-grade students. Discovery, for rising sixth- through eighth-grade students, offers fun, challenging and creative classes with a variety of in-depth experiences in science, technology, engineering, arts and health sciences.

Research Poster Design Session

VCU's Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program will host a poster workshop. The session, 3:30-4:30 p.m. March 19, will be held in Room 1160, T. Edward Temple Building, 901 W. Main St., and will cover some of the technical aspects of poster creation from design to printing. It is appropriate for undergrads who will present their work at the Poster Symposium for Undergraduate Research and Creativity taking place on campus April 24. My Sister's Keeper Feminine Hygiene Drive

In honor of Women's History Month, VCU's Sisters and Stethoscopes and Campus Curlz will be hosting the annual My Sister's Keeper Feminine Hygiene Drive through March 29. Donation drop-off boxes can be found in the lobby of the following residence halls: Edmund F. Ackell (1100 W. Broad St.), Broad and Belvidere Student Apartments (732 W. Broad St.), Warren W. Brandt (720 W. Franklin St.), Webster S. Rhoads (710 W. Franklin St.), West Grace Street Student Housing – South (835 W. Grace St.) and West Grace Street Student Housing – North (830 W. Grace St.). Donations will go to The Doorways, a nonprofit organization.
