VCU Tech Fair April 2-3

VCU Technology Services and VCU Libraries present the 2019 Tech Fair. The event will be held on April 2 in the Lecture Hall, Room 303, James Branch Cabell Library, 901 Park Ave., and April 3 in Tompkins-McCaw Library for the Health Sciences, 509 N. 12th St. The fair, to be held 10 a.m.-2 p.m. each day, is free to students, faculty and staff. No registration is required. Both days feature hands-on demonstrations, presentations, free light lunch and giveaways, courtesy of vendor contributors. May Commencement will take place at 10 a.m. May 11 at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. Students participating in the ceremony must wear caps, gowns and hoods. VCU's Graduate School is accepting applications to the 2019-2020 Graduate School Mentorship Program. The program matches undergraduate and graduate students in mentoring relationships, matching students based on areas of academic discipline and/or interest. The Well Seeks Student Health Educators (Focus on Tobacco)

VCU's Wellness Resource Center is seeking students who are interested in being health educators with a focus on tobacco education. Health educators will have the opportunity to work with student leaders through The Well to assist in planning, creating and implementing tobacco-related events and activities to educate peers about the harmful effects of cigarettes and alternative tobacco products.
