Keynote Speaker Named for VCU Health Sciences Education Symposium

David A. Cook, M.D., will be the keynote speaker at the 2019 Health Sciences Education Symposium. The event, hosted by the VCU School of Medicine, will be in the Learning Theater, James W. and Frances G. McGlothlin Medical Education Center, 1201 E. Marshall St. Dr. Cook, from the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, will discuss "Reconsidering Outcomes Research in Health Professions Education: A Cautionary Tale." Building a Better Résumé

Unified Basketball With Special Olympics
VCU Recreational Sports Intramural Sports is hosting a Unified Basketball league in partnership with Special Olympics. The league will run March 28-April 18. Students and faculty/staff can partner with Special Olympics athletes in a friendly game of basketball to form friendships and strengthen the community. Registration ends March 25.
