VCU's Center for Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Care will host a lecture about preparing for a disaster. “Worst Case Scenario: Being Ready for Disaster” will be in Room 200, McGuire Hall, 1112 E. Clay St. Learn how governmental agencies plan for disasters, how health-care practitioners can participate in disaster preparedness and how collaboration and coordination is essential for effective disaster response. Speakers will be James Keck, Associate Professor Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness; and Chris Hogan, Associate Professor Emergency Medicine. VCU's Campus Connector will operate on a reduced schedule during spring break. From March 4-8, the Campus Connector will operate from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. On March 9, there will be no Connector service. Normal service will resume March 10. RamSafe will respond to cross-campus requests from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. while the Campus Connector is not in service.
