VCU Career Services presents a BEST (Broadening Experiences for Scientific Training) workshop, "Identifying Careers in Industry." The event will be held in Room 6-032, Sanger Hall, 1101 E. Marshall St. Most biomedical scientists choose a nonacademic career path, but do not necessarily know early enough about the other options to consider. Hear from a panel of alumni who transitioned to a career in industry and employers who offer opportunities for early connections.

The Peer Health Educators of VCU's Wellness Resource Center will present "Why Don't They Just Leave? Ending Stigma Around Intimate Partner Violence." Intro to Little Data: Statistical Design and Analysis of Experiments

In partnership with the VCU Office of Continuing and Professional Education, the College of Engineering will offer "Introduction to Little Data: Statistical Design and Analysis of Experiments" for professional development. The noncredit course is geared to entry-level scientists, engineers and managers in manufacturing and technology. Unified Basketball With Special Olympics
VCU Recreational Sports Intramural Sports is hosting a Unified Basketball league in partnership with Special Olympics. The league will run March 28-April 18. VCU Rec Sports: Utah Canyoneering and Trekking in Peru
VCU Recreational Sports Outdoor Adventure Program will host two extended trips following the spring semester. Utah Canyoneering and Trekking in Peru are both offered May 12-19. Registration ends April 30. Interest meetings will be held April 9 and 17 for the Utah Canyoneering trip and April 10 and 18 for Trekking in Peru.
