Award Ceremony for Excellence in Interprofessionalism

VCU's Center for Interprofessional Education will host the fifth annual Excellence in Interprofessionalism Award Ceremony. The event will be held in Room 1075, first floor, the new College of Health Professions Building, 900 E. Leigh St. Faculty and students will be honored who are making a difference in their programs and community through interprofessional work and education.

Nanoscale Light: Tiny Size, Huge Impact

VCU`s Office of Research and Innovation presents a "Because of You: Research You Make Happen" seminar with Nathaniel Kinsey, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Kinsey will discuss his research and will uncover the basic concepts and motivations of nanophotonics, a burgeoning field of research in optics. Intro to Little Data: Statistical Design and Analysis of Experiments
Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
In partnership with the VCU Office of Continuing and Professional Education, the College of Engineering will offer "Introduction to Little Data: Statistical Design and Analysis of Experiments" for professional development. The class will be in Room 105, College of Engineering West Hall, 601 W. Main St. The second day of the class, at the same location and times, will be offered May 24. The noncredit course is geared to entry-level scientists, engineers and managers in manufacturing and technology. No previous training in probability and statistics is required, but a basic understanding of high school mathematics is anticipated. Register at the following URL.

Temporary Relocation of Sanger Hall RamRide Stop
Effective May 10, all Connector Express, A Lot, R Lot and M Lot shuttles will begin to service passengers at a temporary stop at 1000 E. Broad St., directly in front of Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU. At this time, the existing Sanger Hall stop will be discontinued. Signage indicating the stop location will be posted in front of Children's Hospital of Richmond, and all impacted routes will be updated on the RamRide tracker.
