VCU's National Scholarship Office will host a brown-bag informational session on the Presidential Management Fellowship for graduate students. The fellowship is a two-year funded opportunity to work in the federal government. $1 Lunch: Community Café at The Pace Center

The Pace Center, 700 W. Franklin St., will serve lunch for $1 for all members of the VCU community each Thursday during the spring semester. Flo Joe's Chef Duke Arthur will offer a menu featuring Chicken Jollof Burrito with egg rolls and chocolate balls. A vegetarian option will be available. Film Screening: 'Unseen Enemy'

VCU Libraries and University Student Commons will host a screening and discussion of "Unseen Enemy." Workshop: Virtual EMS Training for Requesting a Space at VCU

VCU's Event Services office will hold a workshop on reserving spaces for student organizations and departments. The event, in the Alumni Boardroom, University Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave., will offer instruction on reserving academic spaces, student center spaces and event outdoor spaces, and the use of Virtual EMS (event management system), VCU's online space reservation portal. Traffic Changes for April 13 Monument Avenue 10K Race
Saturday, Apr. 13, 2019 at 4 a.m.
Numerous traffic and parking changes on the Monroe Park campus will be in effect for the Monument Avenue 10K Race. Sections of Laurel Street will close the afternoon of April 11 and sections of Floyd, Franklin, Linden and Cherry streets will close the morning of April 12. All roads will reopen by 5 p.m. April 13. Motorists should use Cary, Main, Grace and Broad streets to reach campus on April 12 and Cary and Main streets to reach campus on April 13. Allow extra travel time. Dispelling Myths Series: "Unforgotten Nation - The Uighurs"

The Uighurs are a Turkic people who live primarily in the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China, where they are one of China's 55 officially recognized ethnic minorities. RamPantry Donation Drive and Breakfast

Help VCU students in need by donating eligible perishable and nonperishable items to RamPantry. In exchange for an eligible donation, participants will receive complimentary breakfast and coffee. 'Invisible Vegan' Screening

GRTC Travel Training Session On MCV Campus

Trekking in Peru

'Kick the Straw:' Documentary Screening at Väsen Brewing Co.

Participate in the Racial Socialization and African American Immigrants Study
Are you above 18 years of age and identify as first- (immigrant) or second-generation (born of immigrant parents) originally from a country in Africa or the Caribbean? Consider participation in the Racial Socialization and African American Immigrants Study. The purpose of the study is to increase the knowledge and understanding of the racial socialization practices and perspectives among African and/or Caribbean immigrant families raising black children in the United States. Participants must be 18 years or older and identify as first- or second-generation immigrants from a country in Africa or the Caribbean. All data will be held confidential. Participants may be entered into a drawing for one of five gift cards or receive SONA Research credit for study completion. Register at the following URL.
