Faculty and Staff Open Enrollment for Health Coverage and Flexible Spending Through May 15
Enrollment for health coverage and flexible spending plans is open through May 15. Eligible VCU employees may enroll or make changes to flexible spending accounts and health coverage elections for the plan year beginning July 1. No action is required to maintain current health coverage, but enrollment is required to begin or continue participation in flexible spending. COVA Care and COVA HealthAware participants may qualify for premium rewards by completing or updating a health assessment. More information is available at https://hr.vcu.edu/open-enrollment/.

World Premiere of New Performance Work by Paul Rucker at ICA
Friday, May 3, 2019 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
This week at the ICA, Guggenheim Fellow, iCubed Fellow and Assistant Professor Paul Rucker will present a new work for solo cello. The work, "400: The Fire Next Time," is inspired by James Baldwin’s book, "The Fire Next Time," and the 400-year anniversary of the first 19 black bodies brought to Virginia. The performance will be in Gallery 4, Institute for Contemporary Art at the Markel Center, 601 W. Broad St. An earlier show, a meditation, will be given at 4 p.m. May 3. A performance at the same location at 3 p.m. May 4 will feature improvisations by Rucker with Nathanael Clark on alto saxophone and Victor Haskins on trumpet.

Latino Medical Student Association Feedback Charla

Tyree Memorial Plaque Unveiling

A memorial plaque will be unveiled in the lobby of the W.E. Singleton Center for the Performing Arts, 922 Park Ave., in honor of beloved faculty member, mentor and friend Rebecca Tyree. Facilitators Needed for Common Book Small Groups

Are You 18-55 Years Old and Do You Vape?
Men and women between the ages of 18-55 who vape are invited to participate in a research study that requires five, four-hour laboratory visits. Compensation (up to $500) is provided.
