At the Whetting your Appetite for Research lunch research series presented by the C. Kenneth and Dianne Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research and Tompkins-McCaw Library, Wright Center senior bioinformatics specialist Amy Olex will discuss applications being developed and used at VCU to mine electronic health records for research data. Recovery Ally Training

ICA Provocations Performance: David Dominique
Friday, May 17, 2019 at 4 p.m.
Composer David Dominique will perform at the Institute for Contemporary Art at the Markel Center, 601 W. Broad St. He will use his voice, electronics and loop pedal to create a soundscape built from whispers, chants, vocal harmony and a selection of the texts and themes that have informed Rashid Johnson's “Monument.” He will also perform at 3 p.m. May 18 at the ICA.

LEAP Onto the James
VCU Recreational Sports is hosting the LEAP (Leadership Environment and Adventure Program) onto the James River camp July 8-11 for high school students. This overnight program, at the Inger and Walter Rice Center for Environmental Life Sciences, 3800 John Tyler Memorial Highway, Charles City County, is for adventurous high school students who are ready to push their leadership skills and develop their outdoor competence. Spring 2019 Final Grading Ends May 14 at Noon
Grade sheets are available on faculty eServices. Grades are due by noon on May 14; at which time grading will be turned off. Faculty may only access grade sheets for courses to which they have been assigned in the Class Schedule.
