The College of Health Professions and VCU Learning Systems will present an overview of Kaltura Capture. As of May 2019, Kaltura Capture Space has been replaced by Kaltura Capture. This training session, to be held in Room 2019, College of Health Professions, 1200 E. Broad St., will provide insights into how to use the new personal capture tool, the differences between the tool and what to expect when you visit Kaltura. Register at the following URL.

Make Your Research More Reproducible

VCU Libraries and the VCU Data Science Lab are offering a half-day workshop to provide hands-on instruction in reproducibility techniques through the use of the Open Science Framework. Learn how to make your research more reproducible and set up your own OSF project page. By attending, you will get hands-on experience to facilitate future data sharing, improve team communication and increase your research profile. Everyday Mindfulness Session at Regency Square

Heart Healthy Cooking Ideas

Healthy eating starts with healthy food choices. You don’t need to be a chef to create nutritious, heart-healthy meals. The VCU Grace E. Harris Leadership Institute, Wilder School, is accepting applications for its 2020 cohorts of the VCU Leadership, HIGHER Ground, and MPLI programs. OCPE Cultural Competency and Language Classes
VCU's Office of Continuing and Professional Education, in partnership with the School of World Studies, will offer cultural competency and language classes. The courses, for one academic credit for VCU and VCU Health employees and community members, run from late August through early December. Available classes include Intro to Conversational French I, Intro to Conversational German II, Intermediate German II, Intro to Conversational Italian I and II and Intro to Conversational Spanish I and II.
