VCU Recreational Sports is hosting a nature camp for rising sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students. The day camp will be held July 15-19 at the Inger and Walter Rice Center for Environmental Life Sciences, 3800 John Tyler Memorial Highway, Charles City County. Campers will explore the James River watershed and learn from the VCU Prothonotary Warbler research team and participants in the Virginia Oyster Shell Recycling Program. Nominations are being accepted for VCU's School of Medicine Teaching Excellence Awards.
