Real Life Film Screening: 'Doctors' Diaries'

VCU Libraries and University Student Commons and Activities invite the VCU community to bring their lunch to a screening and discussion of "Doctors' Diaries." The film, which follows seven doctors on their journey starting at Harvard Medical School in 1987 through practice in 2009, will be shown in the Health and Wellness Library, VCU Health Gateway Building, 1200 E. Marshall St. The screening will be followed by a discussion facilitated by Jared Dyer, D.O., Chief Medical Resident for VCU Health Internal Medicine. Register at the following URL.

Ling Ma To Read at VCU Cabell First Novelist Night

Transgender Awareness Celebration at Memorial Tree

Recruiting Now for TEENS, a Weight Management Research Program for 12-16-year-olds
Are you concerned about your teen’s weight? We can help. TEENS is a research program that includes a four-month family-based lifestyle intervention at Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU for overweight teens ages 12 to 16. The program includes weekly group classes for teens and parents that cover topics such as healthy eating, physical activity and goal-setting. Teens also have access to a gym with personal trainers.
