VCU Human Resources and Long and Foster Real Estate will host an overview of the Smartmove housing program for VCU employees. The session will include a Richmond-area housing market update, preparing to buy or sell a home, marketing a home, the process from contract to close and financing. Heart Healthy Cooking Ideas

Healthy eating starts with healthy food choices. You don’t need to be a chef to create nutritious, heart-healthy meals. Learn what to look for at the grocery store, restaurants, your workplace and any occasion at a session hosted by VCU Human Resources and the American Heart Association. Leave Calculator Updated for VCU Employees
The VCU leave calculator now shows university employees a more detailed breakdown of individual leave. When employees enter a hypothetical separation date, the calculator will show the total payable hours if the employee separates from the university on that date. It will also show the total hours to be used, if the employee wishes to use the rest of his or her leave.

Host a Fulbright Scholar for Dinner
VCU's Global Education Office is seeking volunteers to host two to four international Fulbright Scholars for dinner on Aug. 14. Fulbright scholars from across the globe will be visiting VCU for a brief orientation program before the U.S. portion of their Fulbright experience. Transportation is required.

University Student Commons and Activities invites campus partners to participate in its Fall Student Organization Fair. Participants Sought for Study Examining High-Fat Meal Consumption
The Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences invites healthy individuals (ages 18-30) to participate in a study exploring the body's response to a high-fat meal (dessert pie!). The study requires three visits to VCU's Exercise Physiology Research Lab, 1020 W. Latinx Sought for Research Study on Policies
Researchers in VCU's Department of Psychology are interested in learning more about the psychological impact of current policies on individuals who immigrated to the United States at a young age. Participation includes a one-hour confidential interview. Compensation is available.
