NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Information Session

Jeff Wing, director of VCU's National Scholarship Office, will lead an informational session about the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. The session will be held in Room 1210, the NSO Conference Room, Honors College, 701 W. Grace St. Online attendance is also possible with registration. STEM students who will be first- or second-year graduate students and undergrads who plan to pursue Ph.D.s in a STEM field are encouraged to attend. Register at the following email address.

LemonAid 2019

The VCU Police Department’s property and community service teams will be selling lemonade in front of VCUPD headquarters, 224 E. Broad St. Any donation will be accepted to support Anthem LemonAid, a fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital of Richmond.

Tidal Exploration: Sea Kayak Weekend

VCU Recreational Sports is hosting a sea kayaking weekend. Participants will paddle through wetlands, see wildlife and fall asleep to the sound of the sea. Registration for the event, July 20-21, ends July 16.

Participants Sought for Study Examining High-Fat Meal Consumption
The Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences invites healthy individuals (ages 18-30) to participate in a study exploring the body's response to a high-fat meal (dessert pie!). The study requires three visits to VCU's Exercise Physiology Research Lab, 1020 W.
