Federal Work-Study Job Fair To Be At Richmond Salons

VCU Career Services and VCU Financial Aid will host the Fall 2019 Federal Work-Study Job Fair. The event will be in the Richmond Salons, University Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave. Students who accepted Federal Work-Study as part of their Financial Aid package can meet with on-campus and off-campus employers seeking to hire students for Federal Work-Study positions. Rec Sports' OAP Hosts Teambuilding Program
VCU Recreational Sports Outdoor Adventure Program's teambuilding and leadership program is dedicated to further developing VCU groups and teams. From an hour of meet-and-greet to a full day on the challenge course, OAP offers custom programs. In August OAP will have served more than 1,200 students, faculty/staff and community partners. September and October programs are now being booked.

Virtual Immersive Gaming to Optimize Recovery in Low Back Pain
Are you currently experiencing low back pain, between the ages of 18-60 years old and interested in the possibility of nine weeks of nonsurgical experimental treatment? If you answered yes to all three you may qualify for our research. What? New, innovative and fun virtual reality games are designed to help people with chronic back pain move and feel better. Where? All appointments, testing and treatments are conducted at VCU. When? Participation in the study involves 24 one-hour appointments scheduled over a 57-week period. Who? The VIGOR Study team consists of professionals in the field who have been selectively chosen and extensively trained. Interested? Contact the team at the following URL.
