Undergraduate Library Advisers Should Apply by Aug. 29

The Cabell Library Undergraduate Advisory Committee is accepting applications from undergraduates for the 2019-2020 term. The committee promotes the value of the library on campus and advises VCU Libraries' leadership in service design, programs and student priorities. Members receive an honorarium for their service. Research Assistants Sought for Latinx Research Program

La Esperanza Research Program at VCU's Department of Psychology is seeking Latinx student research assistants. Applicants must demonstrate an interest in Latinx psychology, Latinx immigration and/or health care utilization/disparities. Applicants should preferably be in their sophomore or junior year, committed to two years in the program, have a GPA of 3.3 or higher, be interested in more research experience and intend to pursue a Ph.D. in psychology.

Cabell Library Tours Available Through Oct. 3

VCU Students and Employees Can Ride GRTC at No Cost

Students and employees have unlimited transportation access on GRTC’s Pulse, local and express routes. Students with GO Passes should continue to use this pass and VCU ID to ride GRTC. Students who have not been issued GO Passes can ride by presenting a VCU ID card to the bus driver. A mobile pass, which will replace the GO Passes, will be available later this semester, at which time a GO Pass or mobile pass will be required for boarding. Employees can pick up GO Passes at either VCU parking office, 1108 W. Broad St. or 659 N. Eighth St.
