English Faculty Forum: Joshua Eckhardt, 'Brit. Lit. I From Only One Library'

Joshua Eckhardt, Ph.D., an associate professor in the VCU Department of English, will discuss "Brit. Lit. I From Only One Library." The English Faculty Forum talk will be in Room 308, Hibbs Hall, 900 Park Ave. Eckhardt's survey of early British literature features Chaucer, Shakespeare, Donne, Milton and Behn, but the class reads books collected by a single family, the Egertons of Bridgewater. Eckhardt will show how he uses the Egertons’ books and legal records to contextualize John Donne's verse satires.

Discussing Tobacco, Cigarettes and Vaping

Multiple Mini Interview Prep for Health Care

VCU Career Services will present Multiple Mini Interview Prep for health care. The event will be held in Virginia Rooms C and D, University Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave. Many graduate and professional health care schools are using the MMI format to interview applicants. Students will be able to practice and simulate an MMI with VCU career and academic advisors.

Mindfulness Topic Is Settling the Mind

Nerf Club Match Open to Undergrads

Nerf Club at VCU will host its first match open, which will be open to all VCU undergrads. Game modes include Capture the Flag, a version of Mafia, and Infection. Signups are mandatory, and catering, blasters and darts will be provided for the first 30 people to sign up. Remaining spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Paying Too Much for Adobe Creative Cloud?
If you are paying $240 or $360 a year for an Adobe Creative Cloud license, you may cancel the subscription without paying a cancellation fee. Under the VCU enterprise license agreement, the suite of applications has been heavily discounted and is available to students for $60 per year or $30 for six months.
