New Lottery System To Be Used for Spring 2020 MCV Campus Parking Sale

A sales process resembling a lottery system will be used for students interested in purchasing parking on the MCV campus for Spring 2020. The process began at midnight Oct. 30. Chili Chefs Wanted for Charity Cook-Off

VCU Police will hold its 10th annual chili cook-off at Rodney's Place in Shafer Court Dining Center, 810 Cathedral Place, on Nov. 20 at 11:30 a.m. The department is recruiting chefs. All recipes, including vegetarian, are welcome. Register for free as a chef at the following email. Those who attend are asked to donate $5 to sample chili and get a hot bowl of their favorite recipe. All proceeds benefit FRIENDS Association for Children in Richmond. Volunteer for Party at the Polls On Election Day

VCU Votes Coalition seeks volunteers for Party at the Polls on Nov. 5 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. in the University Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave. Volunteers will assist in sharing nonpartisan sample ballots and voter guides, polling location information and walking groups to the polls. VCU Votes Coalition will also have food and activities in the Virginia Rooms of the University Student Commons from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Multiple shifts available. All volunteers are welcome.

VCU Marketing Students Request Help With Survey About Nonprofit Involvement

VCU marketing research students invite you to participate in a survey on past involvement with nonprofit organizations. Multiple Street Closures Nov. 1-4 on MCV Campus

Starting at 6 a.m. Nov. 1 through 4 a.m. Nov. 4, Broad, 10th and 11th streets around the Children's Pavilion on the MCV Campus will be closed to bring in a crane to erect a crane atop the Children's Pavilion. The crane will be used in the construction of the new hospital. In order to bring in such large equipment, the streets and the Children's Pavilion will close for safety reasons.
