MCV Campus Construction: Traffic Impact Updates

Construction and related utility work at and around the VCU Health Outpatient Facility and Inpatient Children’s Hospital sites will affect traffic patterns on the MCV Campus for several months. On Sept. 27 at 6 p.m. through Sept. 30 at 4 a.m., both 10th and 11th streets between Broad and Marshall streets will be closed. The westbound bus lane on Broad Street will be closed. Sept. 30 Deadline Set for Filing 2018-2019 Flexible Spending Claims

VCU employees enrolled in flexible spending accounts during the plan year July 1, 2018-June 30, 2019 have until Sept. 30 to file claims with Anthem for eligible expenses incurred during that plan year. Any funds remaining in flexible spending accounts after the claim filing deadline will be lost and cannot be carried over. Claim forms are available at the following URL.

Participants Are Invited for Study Examining Physical Activity and Sleep Quality

We are seeking individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 years to participate in a study examining the effect of physical activity on sleep quality. Individuals must be willing to significantly increase their physical activity level (5,000-plus steps per day) for two weeks. This study will be conducted at 500 Academic Centre, 1020 W. Grace St.
