Right to Relax for Human Rights Day

VCU Changemakers will host a Human Rights Day celebration in Room 229, Office of Student Leadership and Civic Engagement, University Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave. The event, open to all students, will include a celebratory brunch and prizes during finals.

Are final exams stressing you out? Come and relax for a bit in Room 118, Hibbs Hall, 900 Park Ave. Drop in and enjoy games, coloring, puzzles, snacks and cocoa. The event is hosted by the Campus Learning Center.

Focused Inquiry To Host Study Break
Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
VCU Department of Focused Inquiry will host a study break for Focused Inquiry students in the Focused Inquiry Learning Lounge, Room 5116, Grace E. Harris Hall, 1015 Floyd Ave. Hot chocolate and tea will be provided. Those who attend will also have the chance to learn about planned Spring programming for support in UNIV 111, 112 or 200.

Town Hall - NIH Proposed Data Management and Sharing Policy
Thursday, Dec. 12, 2019 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
VCU Libraries and the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation will hold town hall meetings to review and discuss the proposed NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy. Comments can be submitted through Jan. 10, 2020, and will be used to inform a final policy. The meeting will be held in Room 250, James Branch Cabell Library, 901 Park Ave. A second town hall meeting will be held 3-4 p.m. Dec. 12 in Room 2-010, Tompkins-McCaw Library for the Health Sciences, 509 N. 12th St.

2020 Dogs On Call Calendars for Sale
Friday, Dec. 13, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Calendars for 2020 featuring the Dogs On Call therapy dogs will be on sale for $10 on the first floor at Main Hospital, 1250 E. Marshall St. All proceeds support the Dogs On Call and the Center for Human-Animal Interaction. Therapy dogs visit patients, students and staff. Calendars will also be available for purchase at the same times and location on Dec. 17 and Dec. 19.

80 MCV Campus Parking Permits on Sale
VCU Parking and Transportation has placed 80 MCV Campus parking permits on sale online that were not sold during the lottery. Permits will be sold online on a first-come, first-served basis.
