RamTech Schedules Preview of Faculty and Staff Appreciation Sale

RamTech will hold a faculty and staff appreciation sale preview at its October Appy Hour event. The preview, in the SGA Senate Chambers, University Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave., will showcase products and savings to be featured in the Nov. 15 faculty and staff sale. Mindfulness Meditation to Focus on Fostering Forgiveness

'We Won't Stay Quiet: Domestic Violence Survivor Speak-Out'
5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The Confidential Advocates with University Counseling Services will host "We Won't Stay Quiet: Domestic Violence Survivor Speak-Out" in conjunction with Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The event, to be held in Room 303, James Branch Cabell Library, 901 Park Ave., will include a speak-out led by survivors, self-care activities and food. Therapy dogs from "Dogs on Call" will be present in an adjoining room to provide additional support for students.

HOSA at VCU To Host Competitions Workshop

Health Occupations Students of America at VCU will have a competitions workshop at Room 1004A, West Grace Street Student Housing – South (ASPiRE), 835 W. Grace St. Competitions in health-related events on a statewide level will be discussed. This workshop must be attended in order to apply to compete and represent HOSA at VCU. Dues ($10) must be paid.
