Chitra Ganesh To Speak at ICA

Artist Chitra Ganesh presents a talk about her drawing-based practice, which includes wall installations, comics, mixed-media works on paper and animations. The event, co-presented by the VCUarts Department of Graphic Design, will be at the Institute for Contemporary Art at the Markel Center, 601 W. Broad St. Ganesh finds inspiration in sources ranging from comics to semiotics, science fiction to social theory, as well as South Asian visual forms and Hindu and Buddhist iconography.

GEO Lunch and Learn: Working With VCU's English Language Learners (MCV)

This session, hosted by VCU's Global Education Office, introduces faculty and advisers to the needs of English language learners and shares how to help and discusses available campus resources.
