Anita Nadal, VCU Assistant Professor of Spanish and Spanish Instruction Community Liaison, will lead a discussion about Afro-Latinx identities. Afro-Latinx is used to describe descendants of Latin America with African roots. The session, hosted by VCU Multicultural Student Affairs, will be in Room 215, University Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave.

VCUDine Fall Food Truck Festival

Special Enrollment Period Extended for Long-Term Care Insurance
The special enrollment period for long-term care insurance has been extended to Oct. 25. During this period, special limited underwriting is available to employees age 65 and under, for coverage effective Dec. 1. After Oct. 25, full medical underwriting will be required for all employees who have been employed more than 60 days. Coverage for family members requires full underwriting at all times.

Study Seeks Perspectives of Black Adults on Mental Health and Therapy
The Black Mental Health Study is seeking black emerging and young adults' (aged 18-40) perspectives on mental health and therapy services.
