The bimonthly financial literacy workshop series is led by a financial literacy expert from the Virginia Credit Union. This week's topic is "Why Am I Broke? Part 2: Aligning Money and Values." Informational Session for Omicron Delta Kappa at VCU

Omicron Delta Kappa, the national leadership honor society, recognizes the achievement of men and women in scholarship, athletics, community service/student activities, journalism/student media and creative/performing arts. Only juniors and seniors who rise to the top 35 percent of their class are eligible to be inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa. Applications are currently being accepted. Dance-Based Films To Be Shown at Grace Street Theater

VCUarts Dance will present "Dance on Camera" at Grace Street Theater, 934 W. Grace St. The evening of dance-based films combines communication arts, film, choreography and a number of other art forms. It is curated by Kate Sicchio, Ph.D., VCU Assistant Professor of Dance and Media Technologies. General admission tickets are $8, $5 for students and seniors and free for VCU students with a valid ID.

Gallery Talk at The Anderson With Emily Sara

Emily Sara will discuss the new work in her exhibition "Compression Socks" at The Anderson, 907 1/2 W. Franklin St. Sara, the 2019 Excellence in Adjunct Research Exhibition recipient, currently serves as an adjunct faculty member in the Art Foundation and Graphic Design departments. She draws on her own experiences with chronic illness for "Compression Socks," and addresses the challenges, issues and — ultimately — the culture of extended care within the U.S. health industry.

Intimate Partner Violence Case Study To Be Presented

Virtual Immersive Gaming to Optimize Recovery in Low Back Pain
Are you currently experiencing low back pain, between the ages of 18-60 years old and interested in the possibility of nine weeks of nonsurgical experimental treatment? If you answered yes to all three you may qualify for our research. What? New, innovative and fun virtual reality games are designed to help people with chronic back pain move and feel better. Where? All appointments, testing and treatments are conducted at VCU. When? Participation in the study involves 24 one-hour appointments scheduled over a 57-week period. Who?
