Summer Study Abroad Program: Midwifery and Health in Guatemala

VCU's Institute for Women’s Health and Highland Support Project will host a week in partnership with indigenous midwives and community leaders in Guatemala. Chili Chefs Wanted for Charity Cook-Off

VCU Police will hold its 10th annual chili cook-off at Rodney's Place in Shafer Court Dining Center, 810 Cathedral Place, on Nov. 20 at 11:30 a.m. The department is recruiting chefs. All recipes, including vegetarian, are welcome. Register for free as a chef at the following email. Those who attend are asked to donate $5 to sample chili and get a hot bowl of their favorite recipe. All proceeds benefit FRIENDS Association for Children in Richmond. Volunteer for Party at the Polls On Election Day

VCU Votes Coalition seeks volunteers for Party at the Polls on Nov. 5 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. in the University Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave. Volunteers will assist in sharing nonpartisan sample ballots and voter guides, polling location information and walking groups to the polls.
