'Audio Visual AlgoRave': Round 1 Live Coding Performance

The Kinetic Imaging department presents "Audio Visual AlgoRave," a collaboration between students in three Kinetic Imaging classes. Interest Meeting To Be Held for CLARION Scholarship Competition

The Center for Interprofessional Education in collaboration with Inter Health Professional Alliance Student Group will hold an interest meeting for the CLARION Case Competition. This competition allows students to form interprofessional teams and put forth solutions for a community and health-based case to earn scholarship money and educational/résumé building skills. The winning VCU team will compete in the national competition in Minnesota in April 2020. The meeting will be held in Room 1-067, Sanger Hall, 1101 E. Marshall St.

Interlibrary Loan, Document Delivery Services To Close During Break
VCU Libraries' interlibrary loan and delivery services will not operate during the VCU Winter Closing Dec. 21 to Jan. 5. Researchers are encouraged to submit requests as soon as possible to have needed materials in hand. The time required to obtain materials from other institutions increases greatly during December and January due to breaks, holiday mail volume and increased end-of-semester workloads. Many libraries do not lend at all from mid-December through mid-January.

Cultural Competency and Language Classes To Be Offered
The VCU Office of Continuing and Professional Education, in partnership with the School of World Studies, will hold cultural competency and language classes. The sessions, for VCU and VCU Health employees and community members, are for one academic credit. Courses begin the week of Jan. 20 and conclude in late April. Classes include Intro to Conversational French I, Intro to Conversational German II, Intermediate German II, Intro to Conversational Italian II and Intro to Conversational Spanish I and II.
