Sound artist Marcus Fischer will discuss installation and sound composition at the ICA with a focus on his work in the 2019 Whitney Biennial. His talk will be followed by an improvised performance using analog and digital processes. Fischer is a musician and interdisciplinary artist based in Portland, Ore., whose work centers around memory, geography and the manipulation of physical audio-recording mediums.
