Presentations Being Accepted for 2020 Brain Injury Conference

VCU and the Brain Injury Association of Virginia will host the 2020 Heading Forward Brain Injury Rehabilitation Conference. The event will be held April 30-May 1 at the Westin Richmond Hotel, 6631 W. Broad St. The call for submissions is now open. Presentations must relate to acquired brain injury but are not restricted to TBI. Adult and pediatric presentations will be accepted. ICA's 'Great Force' Exhibit to Close Jan. 5

The ICA's "Great Force" exhibition, which addresses the force of whiteness, the counterforce of black resistance and the persistence of the color line in the United States, will close Jan. 5. The exhibit at the Institute for Contemporary Art at the Markel Center, 601 W. Broad St., includes new commissions and recent work by 24 artists via painting, sculpture, photography, video and performance.
