The Center for Environmental Studies, part of VCU Life Sciences, will host a free viewing of the film “Sustainable” as part of the 10th annual RVA Environmental Film Festival. “Sustainable” investigates the economic and environmental instability of America’s food system through the lenses of soil loss, water depletion, climate change and pesticide use. After the film, John Jones, M.P.A., Ph.D., from VCU’s Institute for Inclusion, Inquiry and Innovation (iCubed) will facilitate a panel discussion about the film’s themes with scholars and food systems practitioners in the greater Richmond region.
