REAL Challenge Grant Applications

The Office of VCU's Relevant, Experiential and Applied Learning is now accepting applications for REAL Challenge Grants. The grants provide funding support for VCU faculty and staff to create or enhance experiential learning opportunities for their students. These funds can be used for professional development, conferences/workshops, resources and personnel, curriculum/co-curriculum development or other costs associated with furthering experiential learning programming and initiatives. Both individual and team applications are welcome. It is anticipated that funding awards will range from $1,500 to $8,000. All full-time VCU employees involved in experiential learning work at the university are eligible to apply. Both individual and team applications will be accepted. 'Fire and Freedom: Food and Enslavement in Early America'

The Tompkins-McCaw Library for the Health Sciences will host a traveling exhibit which explores the role played by slave labor in keeping American colonial settlers nourished. Presentation Deadline Extended to Jan. 17 for Brain Injury Conference

VCU and the Brain Injury Association of Virginia will host the 2020 Heading Forward Brain Injury Rehabilitation Conference. The conference will be held April 30-May 1 at the Westin Richmond, 6631 W.
