Chili’s at VCU Hosts Official Men’s Basketball Away Game Watch Parties
8 p.m.
During January, cheer alongside the Rowdy Rams at the official men’s basketball watch parties at Chili’s at VCU. Join the Ram Nation on Jan. 14 vs. Dayton (8 p.m.), Jan. 21 vs. St. Joseph's (9 p.m.), Jan. 25 vs. La Salle (noon) and Jan. 25 vs. Rhode Island (7 p.m.). Games will be live on each of Chilis’ nine TVs, plus fans can take advantage of specials like the $5 game-day burger. Wear your VCU gear for free giveaways and prizes. A Mindful Body Scan for Rest and Relaxation
Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020 from 2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
A 20-minute guided meditation session will focus on a body scan for deep rest and relaxation. The session, hosted by the Health Promotion and Well-Being Center and suitable for all levels, will be in the center's Resilience Lab, 815 S. Cathedral Place.

Master in Product Innovation Meet and Greet
Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
VCU da Vinci Center will host an informal gathering focusing on its 13-month accelerated masters program in product innovation. Medical Grand Rounds: Health Effects of Climate Damage
Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020 from noon to 1 p.m.
The health effects of climate damage will be the topic of the VCU School of Medicine Department of Internal Medicine Medical Grand Rounds in Room 1-044, Sanger Hall, 1101 E. Marshall St. Michael Donnenberg, M.D., senior associate dean for research and research training, will cover what is happening to the planet's climate and what is causing these changes, the consequences of rising temperatures and how they adversely affect health and what can be done to mitigate climate damage.

VCU's Global Education Office is seeking homestay hosts Jan. 24–Feb. 1 when the office hosts a delegation from Kazakhstan through the Open World Leadership Program. Host responsibilities include the provision of a private bedroom/bathroom, breakfast daily and a couple of dinners. Transportation will be provided.
