Sonia Rubinsky Piano Master Class, Guest Lecture

Brazilian pianist Sonia Rubinsky will conduct a master class at Sonia Vlahcevic Concert Hall, W.E. Singleton Center for the Performing Arts, 922 Park Ave. Also, Rubinsky will give a lecture about composers Johann Sebastian Bach and Domenico Scarlatti at 7 p.m. March 3 at the same location. Admission to both events is free.

The VCUarts BFA Senior Capstone exhibitions will be shown at The Anderson, 907 1/2 W. Franklin St. Round One consists of artworks by seniors in the Craft/Material Studies and Sculpture + Extended Media departments and will be on view March 2-6 with a reception on March 6 from 6-9 p.m. Round Two, March 19-21, will feature artworks by seniors in the Kinetic Imaging, Painting + Printmaking, and Photo + Film departments. A reception will be held 6-9 p.m. on March 19.

The Department of Biomedical Engineering will host Andrés J. Garcia, Ph.D., executive director, Petit Institute for Bioengineering and Bioscience at Georgia Tech University. He will lecture on "Bioengineered Synthetic Hydrogels for Regenerative Medicine." Catholic Graduate Student Organization Luncheon: In Search of a Miracle

Are miracles real ... or is it all just wishful thinking? Hear Megan Bean, New York native and wife and mother of two sons for 22 years until 2007 when she faced a illness that left her unable to work or volunteer for five years. Doctors said she was medically incurable. In 2013 she went on a pilgrimage to Lourdes, France, where she experienced a dramatic healing. She is inspired and motivated to share her story. All are welcome. Pizza and drinks will be provided. The luncheon will be held in Room 7-102, James W. and Frances G. McGlothlin Medical Education Center, 1201 E. Central Virginia SOCRA Chapter Meeting

Virginia Clinical Research Conference: Collaborate 2020

The Virginia Clinical Research Conference, hosted by the VCU C.
