The National Scholarship Office will host an informational session about several fully funded opportunities to pursue graduate studies abroad and in the United States. Learn about the Rhodes, Marshall, Mitchell, Gates Cambridge, Knight-Hennessy and Schwarzman scholarships, and how the NSO can assist with the application process. 'Unity, Diversity and Victory: Supporting Displaced Communities'

Highland Support Project at VCU presents Muna Hijazi, who will speak about her work connecting Middle Eastern immigrants and indigenous Americans in acts of political solidarity. Hijazi, a Palestinian-American, has worked with indigenous Americans to connect issues and communities. The event will be in Room 1030C (VCU Globe), West Grace Street Student Housing – North, 830 W. Bebé Listo: Latinx Neonatal Health Disparities

The Collective Corazón will host a talk by Tiffany Green, Ph.D., formerly a professor in the Department of Health Behavior and Policy at VCU, who will discuss her research on Latinx health disparities. The Collective Corazón focuses on bringing awareness to Latinx health equity. Bebé Listo (Baby Ready), is an app developed by Green and VCU students that is culturally tailored to Hispanic and Latinx parents-to-be. The session will be in Room A, University Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave.

VCU Symphony Featuring Sonia Rubinsky, Piano

Registration for Sport Climbing Clinic Ends March 4

Catholic Graduate Student Organization Luncheon: In Search of a Miracle

Are miracles real ... or is it all just wishful thinking? Hear Megan Bean, New York native and wife and mother of two sons for 22 years until 2007 when she faced a illness that left her unable to work or volunteer for five years. Doctors said she was medically incurable. In 2013 she went on a pilgrimage to Lourdes, France, where she experienced a dramatic healing. She is inspired and motivated to share her story. Chair Yoga at Larrick
Friday, Mar. 6, 2020 from noon to 12:45 p.m.
Chair yoga is a gentle practice in which standard yoga poses are modified to enable participants to perform them while seated in a chair and/or with the aid of a chair. Just like a regular yoga practice, chair yoga can increase focus, flexibility and strength. Those who attend will be guided through a series of postures including forward folds, spinal twists and hip openers. The class, in Jackson Ward A/B, Jonah L.
