The Pace Center, 700 W. Franklin St., will serve lunch for $1 for the VCU community. The meal will be cooked by VCU students from favorite family recipes. This week’s cuisine will be Mexican with vegetarian options. Bring a valid VCU ID. Register in advance at the following URL.

Embody: Exploring Body Acceptance
5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Explore the influences and messages that have shaped the view of women's bodies and focus on a positive self-relationship. The workshop is part of Women's HerStory Month programming through the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs and is co-sponsored by VCU Recreational Sports. The session will be held at the Marshall Street Studio, 1300 W. Marshall St.

Open Studios, Performances and Noise Sets
Friday, Mar. 6, 2020 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The VCUarts Sculpture + Extended Media Studies senior class will present "One, Two, Three - on One!," a night of open studios, performances and noise sets at The Anderson, 907 1/2 W. Franklin St. Open studios and performances will be held at 5 p.m. Noise sets begin at 7 p.m. and DJ sets kick off at 9 p.m. Sculpture seniors will also be collecting clothing (particularly coats) and canned food to donate to local organizations. They will also be accepting $3-$5 donations for their senior show.

Grand Rounds Presenting Alumnus Tadataka Yamada, M.D.

VCU Departments of Surgery and Internal Medicine are partnering to present an Interdepartmental Grand Rounds featuring Tadataka Yamada, M.D., who completed residency training on the MCV Campus in 1974. Yamada will speak in Room 1-044, Sanger Hall, 1101 E. Marshall St. A breakfast reception will follow. Yamada will also present at the Inaugural Gabriel Makhlouf, M.D., Ph.D., Grand Rounds from noon-1 p.m. March 12 in Room 2/3-200, James W. and Frances G. McGlothlin Medical Education Center, 1201 E. Marshall St. A reception will precede the lecture at 11:30 a.m.

Film Screening of Documentary 'Stumped'

VCU Libraries and University Student Commons and Activities invite the VCU community to bring their lunch to a film screening and discussion of "Stumped." The documentary will be shown in Room 2010, Tompkins-McCaw Library for the Health Sciences 509 N. 12th St. and is about a patient who undergoes an experimental double-arm transplant in the hope of reclaiming his independence despite grave risks.
