This event will include speakers and audience members from universities across the commonwealth. Speakers have signed up and been selected ahead of time. VCU Police Are on Patrol and Available for Survivors

April is sexual assault awareness month; while many students, faculty and staff are away from VCU, VCU Police officers are still available to take reports and provide resources to survivors. VCUPD uses the You Have Options Program, which gives survivors control over how much information they share about an assault. Each shift staffs specially trained, victim-witness officers who can speak with victims about any crime, survivors of assault, intimate partner violence, stalking and harassment.

Rec Sports Invites VCU Community To Join 2020 Recreation Movement

VCU Recreational Sports is participating in the 2020 Recreation Movement. This virtual fitness program, which runs through May 3, connects university students, faculty, staff and alumni from over 40 schools across the country. Members of the VCU community with an active vcu.edu email address can participate. Users log their active minutes per workout through the site; minutes are then combined by school and displayed in a leaderboard showcasing each school’s performance.
