A New App for New Students at VCU

CMSC 491 (computer science) students have designed a scavenger hunt app for VCU. Because COVID-19 has prevented universities from giving guided tours, incoming VCU students might have a difficult time learning the campus. Safety Video Contest For Students

VCU Police and VCU Arts are looking for student pitches and ideas for future safety videos. All that is needed is a video camera on a cellphone or laptop. Videos do not have to be highly produced and film can be from anywhere. The VCU student who submits the best idea will win $1,000 and a chance to have his or her idea professionally produced and distributed.
