VCU alumnus and author David Baldacci (B.A.’83/H&S; H.L.D.’01) will be the keynote speaker at the luncheon, to be held at Jefferson Lakeside Country Club, 1700 Lakeside Ave. Baldacci has published 40 novels for adults and seven novels for younger readers, all of which have been national and international bestsellers, and several have been adapted for film and TV. Tickets are $80 and may be purchased by May 6 at the following URL. The luncheon benefits the Monroe Scholars Book Award, given annually to a high school junior selected by their school. Those students who apply and enroll at VCU receive a scholarship valued up to $2,000 from VCU Alumni.
