Local Blood Drives Scheduled
As communities across the country prepare for the effects of COVID-19, VCU Health and the American Red Cross are hosting local blood drives to prevent blood supply shortages for hospital patients. PennyAppeal at VCU: Relieve Richmond Campaign

Monroe Park Campus Parking Office Closing Temporarily
In an effort to minimize the spread of COVID-19, VCU Parking and Transportation will close the Monroe Park Campus customer service office on March 18 until further notice. The MCV Campus office will still be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

fixIT, Barnes and Noble Updates
RamTech’s on-campus computer repair service, fixIT, is not available. Barnes and Noble on the Monroe Park campus will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. The MCV campus bookstore will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and closed on weekends. Deadline Extended for Fall 2020 Spit for Science Undergraduate Research Assistant Applications
Undergraduate team members will assist with outreach and work in teams to develop research questions and analyze Spit for Science data. Students from all majors and at all class levels are welcome to apply. Enrollment will be for three credits (A-F grading system). Due to the extension of VCU's spring break, the application deadline has been extended to 5 p.m. on March 25.

Updated Dates Available for Wilder School Dean Open Forums
New details regarding the final L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs dean search open forums are now available. For candidate privacy with Zoom, the forums will not be presented to a live online audience, but will be recorded and posted after both visits are complete. New Zoom Account Creation Procedure
All VCU Zoom accounts are now being issued as "Licensed." It is no longer necessary to fill out a request ticket. Log in at vcu.zoom.us with your VCU eID and password and your Zoom account will be provisioned. Users still working with a "Basic" account should log out and back in again to get their new "Licensed" credentials. Refer to the following URL for more information.

The VCU Office of Continuing and Professional Education is currently offering a variety of online learning opportunities for VCU faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members. Modified Schedule for On-Campus Mail
VCU Mail Services will be on a modified schedule starting March 23. The campus mail centers will be open from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. daily. The Mail Processing Center (Ownby Lane) will be open from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily. Mail Services pickup and delivery times at department locations on the Monroe Park Campus will be once daily each Monday, Wednesday and Friday and will remain once daily Monday through Friday on the MCV campus.

Virtual Reality Gaming for Back Pain
Are you currently experiencing low back pain, between the ages of 18-60 years old and interested in the possibility of nine weeks of nonsurgical experimental treatment? If you answered yes to all three you may qualify for our research. What? New, innovative and fun virtual reality games are designed to help people with chronic back pain move and feel better. Where? All appointments, testing and treatments are conducted at VCU. When? Participation in the study involves 24 one-hour appointments scheduled over a 57-week period. Who?
