Massey Cancer Center's P01 Team Pilot Award Opportunity — Applications Due Dec. 15
This award promotes cancer research collaborations between biologists and organic synthetic and medicinal chemists to generate chemical probes that will lead to anticancer drugs. Team projects must include at least three projects and one administrative core. Applications should be a multiprincipal investigator collaboration featuring at least one chemist and biologist, where also at least one investigator is a Massey Cancer Center member and another a full-time VCU faculty member. This opportunity is designed to provide teams with pilot funding for preliminary research and plans for a final P01 application. Team members must have a demonstrated record of collaborations, funding and publications. Applications are due by midnight on Dec. 15.

Fall 2020 Final Grading Due Dec. 14 at Noon
Grade sheets are now available on faculty eServices. Grades are due by noon on Dec. 14, at which time grade entry will no longer be available. It is imperative to meet this deadline to complete all end-of-the-semester processes before the winter closure. Faculty may choose to use the feature to upload grades from an Excel file in Banner 9. Faculty may only access grade sheets for courses to which they have been assigned.

New K Award Seminar Series Will Help VCU Early Career Faculty Apply for NIH Grants
VCU's C. Kenneth and Dianne Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research introduces a new seminar series that will serve as an insider’s guide to the National Institutes of Health’s K Awards for career development. Successful K Award applicants will share tips and tricks that those who attend can apply to their own writing. The five-part series begins Dec. 16.
