Deadline Set To Apply for Graduate Certificate in Health Care Innovation

A new VCU certificate program will make it simpler for those with an interest in innovation to develop products and solutions to challenges facing the health care industry. The Graduate Certificate in Health Care Innovation is a joint program offered by VCU’s School of Nursing and da Vinci Center for Innovation. The online and in-person hybrid program consists of 12 credit hours and can be completed in one year full time and two years part time for students. Apply at the following URL by Oct. 15.

2020 Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign

October Is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Domestic/dating violence is about one person getting and keeping power and control over another person in an intimate relationship. It can include emotional abuse, economic abuse, sexual abuse, using children, threats, domination, intimidation and isolation. This month, VCU Police will share information about domestic violence on social media. VCU Police has a dedicated victim-witness officer, Ofc. I Lot, VCU Cross-Campus Shuttles To Discontinue Service Early on Oct. 9

On Oct. 9, 11th Street between Clay and Leigh streets will close, beginning at 6 p.m. As a result of this closure, the I Lot shuttle and VCU cross-campus shuttle will discontinue service at 5:30 p.m. I Lot subscribers may park in the Eighth Street Deck or the M/R lots.
