VCU's Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence will present Stephanie Fryberg, Ph.D., professor of psychology at the University of Michigan. She will share research findings on how culturally grounded interventions, by way of reframing the learning environment, positively influence student motivation and performance. Mastering Management Series: People Management

The Center for Corporate Education presents the People Management program online for Fall 2020. This course is part of the Mastering Management Series and is geared for those looking to strengthen their skills as a manager or supervisor. An individual one-hour coaching session is included in the program.

Introducing the Honor System and Standards of Academic Conduct
Monday, Jul. 20, 2020 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The Division of Student Affairs, Student Conduct and Academic Integrity and the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence will host an introduction to the interim honor system. Those who attend will learn about updates to the definitions of misconduct, increased opportunities for faculty involvement and new sanctions. Cultivating academic integrity in the classroom, in person and online, will be discussed. This session will also be offered at the same time on July 31. PennyAppeal at VCU: Feed Yemen Today
PennyAppeal at VCU is a nonprofit student organization that is raising money to send food kits to starving children and families in Yemen. It costs $1.50 to provide one meal to a person who is suffering from hunger and poverty during this humanitarian crisis. Donations may be made via the following URL.
