ICA at VCU Open Friday Through Sunday

The Institute for Contemporary Art at the Markel Center, 600 W. Broad St., is open this week Friday through Sunday. Visitors can explore the exhibitions "Provocations: Guadalupe Maravilla" and "The Otolith Group: Xenogenesis," both extended through Aug. 9. To ensure visitors' safety, the ICA has instituted new protocols, including limiting capacity, enhanced cleaning and requiring face masks.

'FRIITZ': A Musical Narrative by Jared Duesterhaus

Mindfulness Meditation

No previous meditation experience is necessary. The class will provide a sense of calm, peace and balance. It will improve attention, focus and ability to work through stressful circumstances. CareShare VCU Seeks Parents, Volunteers
CareShare VCU is a peer-to-peer collaboration that matches VCU family volunteers (students/faculty/staff) with VCU student-parents who need support. This initiative was created by the Graduate Student Association to address the need for VCU students to have protected time to complete their own schoolwork (while caring for their own children and helping them complete their schoolwork).
