American Red Cross Blood Drive

The American Red Cross will host a blood drive at the Pace Center, 700 W. Franklin St., next to VCU Brandt-Rhoads Residence Halls. All blood donations will be tested for COVID-19 antibodies.

Wednesdays in the Workshop: Build Community Through Online Music Making

This online workshop will cover basic workflows for structuring collaborative music-making sessions and projects. These techniques will demystify and break down some of these barriers for music production during COVID-19 and create new pathways for community-building. New ICA Exhibit - Fernanda Laguna: 'As Everybody' ('Como Todo El Mundo')

"As Everybody" ("Como Todo El Mundo") is a survey of work by Argentinian multimedia artist Fernanda Laguna, investigating her aesthetic and feminist activism. "As Everybody," Laguna’s first solo exhibition in the United States, weaves together various facets of Laguna’s practice as a visual artist, curator of alternative art spaces, novelist, poet and activist. Fernanda Laguna and Dalia Rosetti: In Conversation

This conversation explores affinities between multimedia artist Fernanda Laguna and writer Dalia Rosetti. It covers their shared interest in queer and women’s erotic desire, faux-naïf personas, vulnerable materials and states of mind and vernacular traditions in Argentina. This event marks the opening of Laguna’s exhibition "As Everybody" at the ICA, opening Oct. 10.

VCU Career Services' Suit Yourself Closet is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9-11 a.m. by appointment only.
