National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Informational Session

The National Scholarship Office will host two virtual informational sessions about the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship and how to apply. This five-year grant includes three years of funding for tuition and educational costs for graduate study in the STEM fields. Suit Yourself Closet Open To Students
VCU Career Services' Suit Yourself Closet is now open for student appointments. Students can use the closet to find gently used professional clothing. The closet is in the VCU Career Services' office, first floor, University Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave., and is open 9-11 a.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Staying Safe in Off-Campus Activities
In addition to the steps VCU is taking to keep students safe on campus, VCU REAL wants the university community to know what is being done for health and safety in off-campus academic activities. Digital Crisis Communications for Global Pandemics
In partnership with the Robertson School of Media and Culture, the asynchronous online course Digital Crisis Communications for Global Pandemics is available in a noncredit format with Jeanine Guidry, Ph.D., from Sept. 21-Oct. 31 and is open to all. VCU student, alumni, VCU and VCU Health employee, and military discounts are available. The revenue generated from this course will be dedicated to further COVID-19-related research by the school's Media+Health Lab.
