VCU Libraries To Introduce New Video Series

Join VCU Libraries during the Weeks of Welcome (through Sept. 12) as a new video series is introduced for Library Fest. These brief, informal videos will offer an overview of spaces and services on both campuses. The video series is geared for students taking classes on-campus and online.

Chi Alpha To Hold Lawn Games

Campus traditions are important to what makes VCU unique. Stop by the Students Today Alumni Tomorrow table at the Compass to complete campus traditions and earn prizes. Download The Compass Tradition Keepers app, complete two traditions and get a tumbler. Complete five traditions and get a T-shirt. Also, members of the class of 2024 who do not have official class T-shirts can stop by the table and pick one up.

CareShare VCU Seeks Parents, Volunteers
CareShare VCU is a peer-to-peer collaboration that matches VCU family volunteers (students/faculty/staff) with VCU student-parents who need support. This initiative was created by the Graduate Student Association to address the need for VCU students to have protected time to complete their own schoolwork (while caring for their own children and helping them complete their schoolwork). Suit Yourself Closet Open To Students
VCU Career Services' Suit Yourself Closet is now open for student appointments. Students can use the closet to find gently used professional clothing. The closet is in the VCU Career Services' office, first floor, University Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave., and is open 9-11 a.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. All clothing is free for students and students own the clothes they take from the closet — no need to return. Make an appointment for the closet via the following URL.
