Creating Identity Safe (Virtual) Learning Spaces

VCU's Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence will present Stephanie Fryberg, Ph.D., professor of psychology at the University of Michigan. She will share research findings on how culturally grounded interventions, by way of reframing the learning environment, positively influence student motivation and performance. IRB Open Consulting Hours - Virtual

The VCU Institutional Review Board will continue to offer open IRB consulting hours, sponsored by the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs. IRB staff will be available for drop-in consultations with faculty and students from any school or department at VCU.

Ecuador Service Learning Campaign
Honors biology student Samah Nor Bouyakoub, a member of MEDLIFE at VCU, is raising money to participate in a service-learning campaign to provide free medical and dental care to low-income communities in Riobamba, Ecuador via a mobile clinic. Money donated to the campaign will go toward hiring doctors and nurses, purchasing medicine and follow-up care. Donations may be made via the following URL.
