Does your middle-school son or daughter stay home alone? Do they know how to be safe when watching younger siblings? The Safe Sitter Babysitting Course, offered by VCU Health, is designed to prepare students in grades six through eight to be safe when they are home alone, watching younger siblings or babysitting. VCU's Learning, Development and Organizational Culture team will present "Unconscious Bias," a multi-part playlist that explores how unconscious bias affects our lives, our work and ourselves. The content includes tactics to combat unconscious bias, talking about bias and breaking bias habits. The playlist consists of 14 four- to nine-minute micro-learnings that can be started, stopped and reviewed at any time.
