ICA at VCU Open Friday—Sunday

The Institute for Contemporary Art at the Markel Center, 600 W. Broad St., is open Friday through Sunday. The exhibitions "Provocations: Guadalupe Maravilla" and "The Otolith Group: Xenogenesis" have been extended through Aug. 9. To ensure visitors' safety, the ICA has instituted new protocols, including limiting capacity, enhanced cleaning and requiring face masks.

Wall of Ideas Brainstorming

Lavender Discussion Group: LGBTQIA+ Concerns and Queerness in the Age of COVID

Cabell Library Building To Reopen Aug. 3
James Branch Cabell Library, 901 Park Ave., will open its building to VCU cardholders and return access to its physical collections and study spaces Aug. 3. Masks and physical distancing will be required and no food or drink will be allowed in the building other than in the Starbucks seating area.

RamSafe Service To Begin Aug. 1

Rec Sports Facilities To Reopen Aug. 3
Cary Street Gym and MCV Campus Recreation Center are scheduled to reopen with limited operations and hours. In accordance with state, CDC and VCU guidelines, Recreational Sports has made changes to its facilities, guidelines and procedures to help keep members and staff safe. PennyAppeal at VCU: Feed Yemen Today
PennyAppeal at VCU is a nonprofit student organization that is raising money to send food kits to starving children and families in Yemen.
