That Didn't Age Well: Canceled, Dire or Otherwise Dangerous Genre Authors

The VCU Honors College will host Humanities Research Librarian John Glover for a Berglund seminar that will explore how popular genres of fiction do and don't meet reader needs. He will also discuss ways of considering authors who have become widely known for their sexism, racism or other noxious activity and what to do in response. 'Stand and Deliver' Netflix Watch Party

The Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science at VCU will host a Zoom movie night in celebration of Latinx Heritage Month with a showing of "Stand and Deliver." Free Flu Vaccines Available
University Student Health Services offers free flu vaccines to all students on both campuses. The flu vaccine is available during immunization hours by appointment only or immediately following a scheduled medical appointment. Call Monroe Park Campus at (804) 827-8047 or MCV at (804) 828-9220 to schedule an appointment for the flu vaccine. University Student Health Services is located on both campuses: Monroe Park Campus at 1300 W. Broad St., Suite 2200, and MCV campus at 1000 E. Marshall St., Room 305.

IRB Update for Researchers Using Protected Health Information

Want To Learn Strategies To Accept Your Body?
Are you a woman ages 18 to 25? Would you like to participate in a research study aimed to accept your body? Involvement includes participation in a one-week online intervention that lasts 45 minutes total. Participants are asked to complete one-hour online surveys at three time points.
